Right across the road from Woolleys Bay, one of Tutukaka Coast’s best beaches. Spectacular open views from the living area and deck. Recently renovated, this beach house feels like a summer holiday as soon as you walk in. Downstairs is the bunk room with it’s own bathroom (perfect for the kids). Upstairs opens up to the north facing open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, with views across the bay to the north. Hear the waves breaking on the shore, just a few steps away.
The kitchen is modern and has everything you need for creating whatever you desire. There are two bedrooms upstairs – one with a queen bed, and the other can be made up as either a super king bed or two singles.
In the garden up the back is a very cleverly designed elevated deck, positioned to get all day sun, and capturing views of the bay. In the summer there is a shade sail set up over the deck to give you a place to relax in the shade. Fresh herbs in the garden, abundant lemon trees – perfect for gin and tonics at the end of the day!
Woolleys Bay across the road is great for boogie boarding, walking, swimming, fishing off the beach. Within a short drive is Sandy Bay (renowned surf beach), Whale Bay (where bush meets the sand – an idyllic picnic spot),and Matapouri Bay (the jewel of Tutukaka Coast). Tutukaka (Toots) is the place to launch your boat, wander the shops and cafes, or catch a dive expedition to the Poor Knights Islands. Ngunguru has a well stocked superette and liquor centre, Salt Air cafe, the Sports Complex, golf course, kids playground and more.
There is much to explore from this wonderful beach house, or just stay in the bay and enjoy your local beach. Either way, you won’t be disappointed.
