Sandy Bay’s Green Bach is now under new ownership and is better than ever!
Sensational access to Northland’s famous surf beach, popular with locals and visitors alike. Beautiful surf beach with white sand, native bush, pohutukawa trees & other NZ flora. This old style kiwi bach has views to die for & room for all the family. The property is well positioned for sun. Sandy Bay beach is right across the road – paradise on your doorstep! Relax in this sunny bach to the sounds of the ocean, or watch the action of those surfing in the waves. Top level has a queen bed in one room and a double bed in the other bedroom. Open plan living with deck with table and chairs overlooking the beach and surrounding hills. Bathroom has a shower over the bath, plus an outdoor shower. Lower level has a queen bed and a set of bunks. Blankets, duvets and pillows are supplied for the bach. Linen can be provided at an additional cost. Off street parking.
Summer surf hire and lessons available from Tutukaka Surf. Sandy Bay is well-known for surfing & hosts many surf competitions throughout the year, has views of the famous Poor Knights Islands and is only 5 mins drive to Matapouri Bay (nearest shop) and 15 minutes from the Tutukaka Marina, gateway to the Poor Knights Marine Reserve, restaurants, bars, marina and shops.
