Kiwiana Holiday Homes offers holiday home owners a complete rental management service, allowing you to maximise the investment in your holiday home.

We are based in Matapouri on the Tutukaka Coast and are 100% locally owned and operated. So what does that mean for you? As we live and work locally, we are driving around the coast most days and are able to keep an eye on your house, we know what’s going on in the region (including knowing first hand what’s happening with the weather), we can bring your recycle bin in from outside your property so it doesn’t advertise an empty house, we’re available if problems arise when guests are staying. We have a network of local tradespeople we can call on if needed, and can meet them at the property.

We can manage the whole process from beginning to end – once you contact us we’ll come and meet you at your house and talk through your needs and how we can get the best result for you. From there we’ll get your house ready for holiday rental – organising photos and wording for the website listing, getting it on the websites, answering enquiries and securing bookings, handling the payments, taking care of the guests’ arrival and departure, and being the contact for them while they are in the house. After the guests leave, we inspect the property (and clean if included), note any damage and report to you if there are any issues that need attention. We manage the whole process so you can relax!

We’ll look after your house in the same way we would our own, and treat guests as we would like to be treated. If a problem arises we’ll look for alternative solutions if needs be. As an example, in one of our managed houses the outdoor umbrella broke in the middle of summer (worst timing!). As we didn’t have time to buy a new one before the next group of guests arrived that afternoon, we took our own umbrella to the house for them to use until we could buy a replacement. We realise it’s often the little things that make a big difference, to both our owners and the guests.
